The Open War Maps for Warhammer 40,000 are an easy and fun way to prepare games of Warhammer 40,000. They remove hesitation and doubt so you can just play. This set of 51 cards, divided into 5 card types, helps you to determine the setup type, mission objectives and special rules for free games. Included are:

12 deployment cards - 12 different deployment types for the players;
9 Mission Objective Cards - 9 different mission objectives for victory in the game;
18 Special Circumstances Cards - 18 different special rules that can be used to add a special factor to the game, such as acid rain, debris in orbit and fighting in the middle of the night;
6 war ruse cards - 6 different cards that can be used to capture an advantage such as ambushes and burrows - they counteract higher power levels;
6 Instant Victory Cards - 6 different cards that offer different opportunities to win despite being significantly outnumbered - if your opponent's power level is at least twice as high as yours, you get a secret advantage that you can use as you wish!

If you use every card type, there are over 60,000 possible combinations - a really large variety! The cards are accompanied by an introductory booklet and their backs are decorated with illustrations.
