Benz patent motor car, Victoria - NEW FORM
This model is the first four-wheel vehicle from Benz & Co. with wooden spoke wheels, rigid axles and fully elliptic leaf springs. It was powered by a 1.7 - 2.9 liter gasoline engine that set the rear wheels in motion using two-stage flat belt transmission and chains. Even then, you could get various extras for an extra charge, such as a three-stage planetary gear with reverse gear and the Vis-á-vis variant with a bench opposite the standard seat. This additional fully-fledged bench offered space for another two people, making a family outing of four possible. The model could also be ordered with a sun roof. The mid-range car Victoria was manufactured in a production period from 1893-1900 and, depending on the equipment, could be bought for 3800 to 6150 gold marks.
