The BR 78 from PIKO with a prototypical design and lettering of the DR in Era IV. Almost all the lines were free-standing, the driver's cab, water tanks and smoke box are decorated with the finest reproductions of the rivet heads. The five-pole PIKO motor with flywheel ensures excellent driving characteristics. Additional weights in the shell and two traction tires ensure high traction.
The sound variant has a factory-fitted PIKO sound decoder including loudspeakers and an integrated smoke generator. The direction-dependent lighting in LED design ensures an authentic working atmosphere.
