Yacht Boeier

This is a kit of the well-known Boeier "Sperwer" from the Dutch Zuiderzeemuseum. This Boeier belonged to the Englishman Merlin Minshall, who sailed with it through Europe across the Danube to the Black Sea. Shortly before the war, Minshall met Ian Fleming. Minshall's journey would have inspired Fleming to create the fictional character James Bond.
