Finely detailed models with close coupling according to NEM 355.
At the beginning of the 1970s, the older types of rail mail wagons could hardly be used profitably. The first new cars built in 1952/53 could only be used to a limited extent at 120 km/h.
That is why the Deutsche Bundespost ordered new rail mail cars in 1973. 200 cars were produced in 1976. Originally approved for a top speed of 140 km/h, it was modified and upgraded to 200 km/h in 1979 fast post intercity trains.
After the post wagons were decommissioned, some were sold to private companies, including RailAdventure, which uses these wagons as coupling wagons for vehicle transfers.
