In 1992, the era of tilting trains began with the series 610 on the then German Federal Railway. With its active car body control, the centrifugal forces are compensated in curves, meaning that curves can be negotiated more quickly. In 1996, the tilting train series 611 followed, and in 1998 the series 612 - also with tilting technology. The film shows an intensive look at these tilting trains. The 610 goes through the Pegnitz valley. "Failures, bad luck and breakdowns" with the 611 are shown, as well as the short episode of the 612 as "ICE light".
