Alpine Loco. Ge4/4 Ⅲ ”UNESCO”
Locomotive Ge4/4-III is capable to draw a 210 ton train at 50 km/h on a 25 ‰ slope in adhesion method and used to pull such international sightseeing trains as Glacier Express and other passenger trains of RhB. Among the locomotives Ge4/4-III, Locomotive No. 160 is a special vehicle with the design of famous Landwasser stone viaduct painted on the blue background in the movement aiming at the designation as an Unesco world heritage.
