IFA W50 MK (furniture case) "Zirkus Berolina", by ESPEWE
The W50 was designed in over 70 basic variants with different structures. The furniture box vehicle W50L MK was used for long-distance transport and for transporting furniture and bulky or large-volume goods. Vehicles with extended cabs were used on tours that required additional escorts, such as transporting furniture or transporting a circus by road.
The circus Berolina was a founding member of the VEB central circus, which was renamed circus Berolina in 1968. By 1989 it had developed into the most modern large circus in the CMEA countries and traveled exclusively by road. In addition to Jelcz and Skoda, towing vehicles included the IFA W50 and ZT300 tractors.
