Lachwagen with stanchions Ks [3300] of the DB AG, epoch V.
Length over buffers: 114 mm.
Car number: 21 80 3300 800 - 2
With square buffers.
As a replacement for older flat wagons that had reached the end of their useful life at the DR, the DR purchased around 1,200 stake wagons in the dimensions of the UIC standard wagons from UV Arad in Romania in 1969. Typical for the vehicles is the reinforcement beam in the middle area of the car and the use of rotating stanchions instead of plug-in stanchions.
In 1994, the DB-AG took 1,146 Ks [3300] into its inventory and added them to its fleet with the designation Ks 446. Many of these cars are still in use today at DB-AG and private railway companies. The model from Busch reproduces the original of the new flat car in detail in variants of the DR (Ks [3300], era 4) and the DB (Ks 446, era 5/6).
As with the larger models, the cars have special features such as rotating stanchions, a car floor made of real wood and prototypical round or square buffers.
