Boxcar G of the DRG
Company number: Stuttgart 773
Among the Württemberg goods wagons with a wheelbase of 3.6 m and two platforms were numerous fire goods wagons. They were intended for the transport of inflammable goods.
For the transport of inflammable goods, there were strict regulations for the loading, handling and loading into the trains. The cars, especially the roof and the brake system, had to be in particularly good condition, which had to be checked by the train staff before each journey. At least four wagons had to be lined up between the wagon and the locomotive, and the wagons were not allowed to be loaded in the goods shed.
