The Re 4/4 II 11110, built for the SBB in 1966, was sold to the BLS together with five other machines at the end of 2004. The Re 420 501 was not only the first silver BoBo, it was also the only one that initially operated with the SBB with an SBB number, but already with the BLS logo. At the BLS, the locomotive could be used for passenger and freight transport. The cargo usage ban only applied to numbers 507–512. Also the 501, the last Re 420, which left the BLS and went to the Extrazug.ch association. There it should become green again in the future.
