Electric locomotive 193 110 "Goldpiercer" from Railpool leased to SBB Cargo International.

LED headlights change with the direction of travel (3x white at the front, 1x white at the rear). In digital operation, light functions can be switched based on the Swiss model.

SBB Cargo International received the first ETCS Baseline 3 Vectron from the leasing company Railpool in 2023. Both Vectron from Railpool and ETCS Baseline 3 locomotives are a novelty in Switzerland. A long-term lease was signed for eight locomotives, which is why five of the locomotives will receive the Alppiercer design typical for SBB Cargo International.
The Railpool 193 110 "Goldpiercer" has now also been given a livery based on the previous Nightpiercer series for SBB Cargo International. The "Goldpiercer" is already the seventh special locomotive to be built on a Vectron. The DACHINL locomotives, like their predecessors (MRCE Vectron - alias "Shadwopiercer"), will be given the names of Swiss lakes. The choice to paint the 193 110 "Zugersee" in the special design is no coincidence, as it is Railpool's 300th new locomotive and therefore also has subtle gold stripes.
