Variant of the BR E.428 of the FS in Era III with two stems.
The Italian E.428 also has a stately appearance in the model: the elongated locomotive body and the massive forward bogies characterize the image. The new PIKO model reflects these attributes and the strikingly designed front excellently. The side surface is structured by fine rivet bands and the flush-mounted engine room windows. A powerful five-pole motor works in the housing. Two precisely balanced flywheels improve the running properties and help overcome small contact problems with the tracks. A PluX22 interface makes it easy to retrofit a decoder, and there is also space for a large speaker on the tidy circuit board.
