With the H0 model of the Vectron electric locomotive, PIKO is fulfilling the wishes of PIKO fans who, both as system operators and as collectors, have opted for models based on the latest railway technology.

With the Vectron, PIKO supplies a high-precision model that has numerous extras on the basis of a solid die-cast zinc frame and equipped with proven PIKO standards. The tried-and-tested PIKO motor ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheel masses. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven on all four axles, is reinforced by two traction tires that are placed diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. The headlights and taillights are illuminated by LEDs whose red or white changes with the direction of travel. The externally elegant appearance of this model includes an exactly reproduced technical "roof landscape" and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles.

The model is prepared for simple retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker and has a PluX22 interface.
