With the H0 model of the Vectron 193 and 247 electric and diesel locomotives, PIKO fulfills the current wishes of the growing number of PIKO fans, who have chosen both as plant operators and as collectors for models based on state-of-the-art railway technology.
With the Vectron, PIKO is delivering a high-precision model with numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and proven PIKO standards. The proven PIKO engine ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheels. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven by all four axles, is amplified by two traction tires, which are arranged diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. The lighting of the front or tail lights is done by LEDs whose red or white changes with the direction of travel. \u003c/\u003e The exterior appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical "roof landscape" and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. The different lengths of the electric and diesel versions were also considered in the model.
