Variant of the BR 112 of the DR in Era V.
The PIKO model is characterized by the successful mold construction without disturbing mold separating edges and the harmonious implementation of all relevant details of its model. The lighting is provided by LEDs. The driver's cab lighting and the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with the PluX22 decoder. The model, which has a zinc die-cast frame, has a five-pole motor with precisely balanced flywheel masses for excellent driving characteristics and two traction tires for high tractive forces, which are arranged diagonally on the inner axles of both bogies.
A retrofit with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is prepared on the clearly designed circuit board with PluX22 interface. Attachable brake hose dummies are included with the model.
