New for 2023: With the redesign of the E 17 series, PIKO is consistently continuing the series of well-known old-style electric locomotives.

The model reproduces the striking shapes of the prototype true to scale. In order to perfectly reproduce the operating condition in Era IV, all changes made to the prototype during the course of the modernization were also taken into account in the model. In addition to the front windows, these also affected the course of the roof line and the design of the porch.

Technically, the new PIKO model has its finger on the pulse and has silky-smooth driving characteristics, good tractive effort and headlight changes built in as standard. Like the lighting in the driver's cab and engine room, this is designed using the latest LED technology.

The sound version is factory-equipped with a suitable PIKO sound decoder including the largest possible loudspeaker.
