The large side surfaces and the smooth roof of the 152 series embody the locomotive construction of the 1990s.
The new PIKO model on a scale of 1:87 reproduces this overall appearance perfectly. Just as great value was placed on details in the design and toolmaking process: extremely three-dimensional engravings on the ventilation grille and bogies with an excellent visual depth effect emphasize this.
Technically, the model continues the proven line of PIKO constructions. A powerful central motor serves as the drive, two flywheels also cultivate the running properties and traction tires arranged diagonally enable the transport of impressive loads.
In digital mode, the cab lighting can be switched digitally. The sound version of the locomotive has a PSD XP 5.1 sound decoder of the latest generation ex works.
As a further highlight, the BR 151 has PIKO TrainSound® onboard.
