Electric locomotive Re 4/4 SBB, epoch III with sound
Prototype: Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) electric locomotive Re 4/4 (later Re 4/4 I) from the first series. Sapphire blue basic coloring. Original version with transition doors on the front and transition plates. Locomotive road number 409. Operating condition around 1957-59.
The SBB 4 Re 4/4 I electric locomotive in sapphire blue undergoes numerous changes in shape in order to implement the model largely in line with the prototype.
Specifically, a new sideshift is created without the double row of fans, but only with one row of fans below and a row of windows above. In addition, the sand filler flaps are simulated on this sideshift.
On the other side of the locomotive, the sand filler flaps are also added and reproduced.
In addition, the locomotive receives additional rivets in some places that were previously not appropriate.
With mfx + digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-performance drive with flywheel, centrally installed. All 4 axles driven by cardan shafts. Traction tires. The triple headlights and 1 white marker light (Swiss light change) change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Headlights on locomotive side 2 and 1 can be switched off digitally separately. Double-A-light function. Maintenance-free warm white light-emitting diodes (LED) are used for lighting. Separate roof steps. Inserted handle bars made of metal. Representation of the front transition plates and handles.
