White and red LED triple headlights that change with the direction of travel. The headlights of the locomotive can be partially or even entirely switched off with a microswitch.
Prototype: In August 2017, the Deutsche Bahn AG concluded a framework agreement with the company Siemens for up to 100 new multi-system locomotives for the DB Cargo. 60 locomotives were delivered immediately. The locomotives which are equipped with ETCS are intended to be used on the Rhine-Alpine corridor in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands and - from 2020 on - in Belgium.
