Nostalgic locomotive "Krokodil" type HGe 4/4 15 of the Brig-Visp-Zermatt-Bahn (BVZ), epoch V
Model with additional gear drive.
Driven by a five-pole motor with a flywheel. Digital interface according to NEM 651 standards.
Headlights based on the Swiss model, 3 white at the front, 1 white at the back.
Of the five HGe 4/4 11-15 rack-and-pinion locomotives that were put into service in 1929/30 as electric vehicle replacement equipment, unfortunately only the last one that was built as a train locomotive for nostalgic trains has survived today. Compared to the delivery condition, some fan grilles have been replaced by more modern ones, so that the locomotive differs significantly from the locomotives 12 and 14 that have been available since then.
