Technical Equipment
The 4-part model is available in 3 variants. The analog variant has a slot according to NEM 651. The second variant is factory-equipped with FlexDec including warm white lighting and offers a significantly expanded range of functions for digital operation with DCC:
- 43 separate light outputs (another 10 per VMe)
- all outputs freely programmable on the function keys F0 - F28
- dimmable lower right headlight
- separate lighting in the boiler room, engine compartment
- Passenger simulation (automatic random light change in the individual compartments)
etc...
The third variant is equipped with FlexDec and an additional sound module.

The conversion from analog to digital operation is also possible with the analog model, but with a smaller number of separately switchable light functions. There is a suitable slot for this on the VMd's roof board, which is equipped with a jumper plug in the analog delivery state. This can be replaced by a suitable digital decoder.
The train can be expanded to a 5-part train with an additional car.
