World's first large diesel locomotive with hydraulic power transmission - the V 140 001 from the DRG
With mfx digital decoder and extensive light and sound functions. Regulated high-performance propulsion with a flywheel. 3 axes driven via coupling rods. Traction tires. The triple headlights and dual red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights on locomotive side 2 and 1 can be switched off digitally. Double-A light function. Cab lighting can be controlled digitally separately. Maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LED) are used for the lighting.

Prototype: Class V 140 001 diesel-hydraulic locomotive, blue basic paint scheme. Version in the museum version of the German Museum Munich, on loan housed in the ring locomotive shed of the Lokwelt Freilassing. Labeled as V 140 001 of the former Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR), epoch II / VI.
