With the BR 232 from Erfurter Bahnservice GmbH, PIKO offers another highly detailed model. The PIKO locomotive impresses with its successful mold making. The PIKO models of the 132 series of the DR and 232 are characterized by the finest paintwork and printing, free-standing handlebars, a die-cast zinc frame and a powerful five-pole motor, which in combination with two balanced flywheels guarantees balanced running characteristics. The lighting is done by LEDs. The cab lighting and the tail light can be switched digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model has two traction tires, which sit diagonally on the inner axles of the two bogies. Electricity is drawn from all wheels. A PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with mfx capability is installed ex works, the locomotive is also prepared for simple retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker.
