The MY 1131 was put into service on October 25th, 1957 and was taken out of service on June 2nd, 1997 after 40 years of service. The Altmark Rail AMR's MY.1131 was part of the DSB fleet of NOHAB locomotives with the same number until its sale in 1999. The 1131 changed hands several times,
from 1999 to 2001 at NEG,
from 2001-2003 Eurotac,
from 2003-2007 at Eichholz,
from 2007-2010 at Strabag,
from 2010-2018 at Erfurter Bahnservice,
and from 2018 at Altmark Rail
From 2020 the MY.1131 has the current design of the Olsen Gang
