• Magirus S 3500 belatedly steps into the breach for the “Parrot”

Better late than never – WIKING remembers the 1964 model year! At that time, WIKING founder Friedrich Peltzer announced the Magirus S 3500 with flatbed and loading crane, but delivered the Sirius. This round-cab truck became known as the “Parrot” because of its multi-colored design. Now the traditional model makers are catching up on the almost forgotten new product presentation and presenting the Magirus S 3500 as planned at the time – with a carmine red driver’s cab and fenders and a sky blue flatbed!

Driver’s cab carmine red, flatbed sky blue. Interior mouse gray, chassis black. Rims and loading crane silver. Radiator grille with frame and Magirus logo silvered. Headlights silvered by hand. Side indicators also hand-painted orange. Red taillights hand-painted.
