Borgward flatbed truck – rosé
1957-61
The Borgward flatbed truck can also wear the eye-catching rosé, because the Bremen transporter has long since emancipated itself among its class peers thanks to beautiful new editions. In the 1950s, Borgward was still one of the largest van manufacturers in the Republic and had a dense service network. The Borgward of course has the distinctive brand rhombus in the middle of the radiator grille. With the miniaturization of the Borgward flatbed truck, WIKING is reminiscent of the Bremen small van, which, as a front-drive vehicle, was intended to complement the other types of cabs.
The WIKING model shows the authentic character of this Borgward, which was built from 1957 to 1961, but was still visible on German streets many years after the end of the Borgward era.
Rosé body with platform, olive gray interior. Chassis, rims
and bumpers zinc yellow. Front headlight silvered by hand,
Rear lights printed red. Orange indicator. Cab forehead with decorative grille and
Borgward rhombus printed silver and black.
