Busch 53322 Gauge H0 IFA HL 80 trailer from the “Landskron Brewery”

Always a delight!
This was once the advertising slogan of the Landskron Brewery, which used to advertise with the slogan “the easternmost brewery in Germany”. The Dr. brewing factory founded in 1869 in Görlitz, Saxony. Lohbeck GmbH & Co. KG initially employed 70 people and is now one of the oldest industrial monuments in Germany still in production. The special thing is that the beer matures in 12 meter deep cellars - the so-called fermentation rooms - for 40 days, longer than usual for beers.
The brewery's fermentation rooms are now also a listed building. Like so many companies, the brewery was nationalized in the GDR in 1972. In 1992, however, the previous owners, the Scheller family, were able to take over the company again.

The miniature pendant with the fine print is reminiscent of earlier times and is a historical witness.
