Chevrolet K5 Blazer US SUV with American lifestyle, 1975-76
This youngtimer continues the successful WIKING series of legendary SUVs:
The Chevrolet K5 Blazer from 1976 is miniaturized 87 times to scale - a model-making highlight with a lot of automotive history. The traditional model makers have already repeatedly taken on SUV developments in recent years - most recently it was the early generation Range Rover, but the Lada Niva is now also one of them as a really striking contrast. The Chevrolet K5 Blazer is now the most popular American in Germany at the time, which already attracted attention in the second half of the 1970s because, given its size, it simply outshone every European off-road vehicle. The Blazer is a real SUV that impresses above all with lots of chrome and a separate hardtop. The V8 engine usually provided its typically deep rumbling appearance - a typical American.
Chassis black, body yellow-orange, interior brown-beige. Bumpers, radiator grille and rims chrome-plated. Hardtop and side stripes in white. Side stripes and glazing with silver trim. Silver "K5" type print on the side, silver Chevrolet lettering on the rear and red printed taillights.
