The Chevi with the air-cooled six-cylinder boxer engine in the rear made the Corvair unique. It was an alternative to the VW Beetle import car, which was successful at the end of the 1950s. In 1962, in addition to the basic model, there was also a coupé and a cabriolet. From 1963, the engines were increased to 2.7 liters and reached 96 hp.
