Structured plate with V-groove made of polystyrene, 300 x 150 x 0.5 mm, grid: 1.5 mm.

Polystyrene is a widespread, thermoplastic (thermally deformable) plastic that is very suitable for model construction because it is easy to work and process. It can be easily scratched with a cutter and simply "broken" at the same point. The individual components can be "cold welded" with the aid of dispersion adhesives.

The dimension of the grid indicates the center-to-center distance from groove to next groove. The size of the areas in between is calculated by subtracting the groove width from the size of the grid (e.g. grid = 6.4 mm; groove width = 1.46 mm; area size = (6.4 mm - 1.46 mm) = 4.94 mm).

The structured plate with V-groove is available in material thicknesses of 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm and in two different basic sizes: 300 x 150 mm and 600 x 300 mm. The grid and groove width vary.
