The national airline of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia started in 1947 as a rather small regional company. That changed abruptly with the development of the oil industry in the early 1970s. Today Saudia operates around 160 aircraft. One of 35 long-haul jets, this 777 has been given a 1970s livery to celebrate the airline's 75th anniversary.
