For the first time, a model from the US low-cost airline Spirit appears in the Herpa range. Unofficially, the airline is also listed as an “ultra-low-cost carrier”, where in addition to the seat, almost everything else, such as hand luggage, has to be booked for an extra charge. The simple concept turned out to be very successful and the airline grew to become the eighth largest company in the USA.
