Mexicana de Aviación Airbus A318 - XA-UBT
Mexicana was Mexico's largest airline and, after KLM, Avianca and Qantas, the fourth oldest airline to continuously operate under the same name. Unfortunately, it went bankrupt in 2010, otherwise it would have been 100 years old in the coming year when it was founded in 1921. Reason enough to dedicate a small series of models with aircraft types and liveries from its past to this traditional airline. It starts with the smallest member of the A320 family in the company's last livery, which was introduced in 2008.
