20mA mini miniature constant current source for LEDs KSQ2.
This "intelligent resistor" always supplies your LEDs with the right current, even with AC voltage.
The electronics in the KSQ2 limit the current to around 20mA, regardless of the supply voltage. Your LED always lights up constantly in a voltage range between 4V and 24V. Unlike the KSQ1, the KSQ2 can also be connected directly to your AC voltage transformer.
Depending on the LED type and input voltage, 11 LEDs can be connected in series. A parallel connection is also possible, then the current is divided between the LEDs.
The KSQ 2 has two connection pads to which a DC or AC voltage is connected and two other pads that serve as output + and -.
A buffer capacitor can also be connected via the connection pad on the bridge rectifier, e.g. to install flicker-free train lighting.
All connection pads are pre-tinned, which allows for easy processing. On the back of the board you will find useful connection information.
